Clougha Pike
Despite picking me up late, going the wrong way on the M65 and taking off his fleece at 80mph, Mark did get Duncan and me to the race with time to spare.

A cool day was ideal for racing and conditions were generally very good. There was a real battle for 2nd Dasher between Dunc, Kev Pete and me. We changed places many times and in the end we finished within less than a minute of each other.

Sarah and Jim had a good sprint to the finish, with Jim just ahead at the line. If he'd tripped he'd have had stud marks all up his back as Sarah thundered over him.

Worrying about getting his car off the slippery show field, Mark went in search of a farmer to pull him off; I'm still unsure how that would have helped
