Domestic trivia, fear and injuries (real and imaginary) kept many
Dashers away today leaving good points available for the 'also rans'.
Top points for Mark and Sarah were no surprise, but there was a
good, initial, battle between Duncan, Stuart and me
I was hoping for poor visibility so that my recce of the un-flagged,
featureless moorland would be of some benefit. Unfortunately, the
cloud lifted and navigation was replaced by 'follow the leader'.
Shame.
Conditions underfoot were very soft and stones hidden beneath the
tussocks of heather and peat made the going tough.
